There are included a network configured in a train composition, communication relay apparatuses (1-1 to 1-3), terminal apparatuses (5 to 10), and a position information distributing apparatus (4). Each of the communication relay apparatuses (1-1 to 1-3) rewrites position information from the position information distributing apparatus (4) into train car information, which indicates the intra-composition position of the train car in which the communication relay apparatus (1-1 to 1-3) is disposed, and transfers the train car information. The terminal apparatuses (5 to 10) each have an IP address correspondence table including IP addresses, which have been set for the respective models of the terminal apparatuses (5 to 10) without any duplication and which are to be used in accordance with the train car information, and also including information of connection destinations of the terminal apparatuses (5 to 10). IP addresses to be assigned to the terminal apparatuses (5 to 10) are determined on the basis of the IP address correspondence table and the train car information from the communication relay apparatuses (1-1 to 1-3). |
