METHOD FOR PREDICTION OF PURULENT-SEPTIC COMPLICATIONS BEFORE RECONSTRUCTIVE-RESTORATIVE INTERVENTIONS

A method for prediction of purulent-septic complications before reconstructive-restorative interventions comprises the preoperative determination of bacterial contamination, determining the presence of pathogenic anaerobes in future operations, the sensitivity of selected microflora to antibiotics. The research of functioning and isolated parts of the colon is carried out for the presence/absence of microorganisms. When determining the number of pathogenic microorganisms, equal to or greater 1 million colony forming units per milliliter, and with the prevalence of anaerobes, the risk of septic complications is predicted as well as need to adjust the surgical tactics.
