PURPOSE: A steam plant, an operating method thereof, and a steam plant improving method are provided to utilize a concentrate generated in a reverse osmosis device in a processing device and/or a blow-down water tub, thereby reducing water consumption, processing expenses, and environmental effects. CONSTITUTION: A steam plant includes a processing device (12) processing raw water; a boiler (18) generating steam; a blow-down water tub (20) receiving a hot blow-down water supply from the boiler; and a reverse osmosis device (14). The reverse osmosis device is connected to the processing device via a water inflow line (48) and connected to the boiler via an osmosis liquid line (60). The reverse osmosis device is connected to the processing device and/or the blow-down water tub via a concentrate line (74) and lines (76, 78, 80, 82). The reverse osmosis device receives processed water from the processing device and produces osmosis liquid supplied to the boiler via the osmosis liquid line and concentrate supplied to the processing device and/or the blow-down water tub via the concentrate line and the lines. |
