FIELD: physics.SUBSTANCE: radiation is detected in N>2 adjacent channels arranged so as to include a reference peak; the average pulse repetition frequency Fis determined in all channels; values Fobtained in two pre-selected adjacent channels closest to the top of the reference peak are compared and the comparison result is used to generate the basic control signal for correcting the transfer constant of the detecting channel. Boundary values of adjacent channels are selected proportional to members of a rising geometric progression with a quotient Q; normalised values of average pulse repetition frequencies are calculated in all channels F=F/Q; the channel in which the value Fis maximum is determined, and if that channel is not one of pre-selected two adjacent channels closest to the top of the reference peak, an additional signal, predetermined for each other channel, for correcting the transfer constant of the detecting channel is generated.EFFECT: high stability and reliability of the system.2 dwg |
