PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce apparatus size of a measuring apparatus which measures optical characteristics of a sample dispensed in a well of a microplate.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus has: mechanisms 1, 2, 3 for rotating a microplate 10 having a plurality of wells arranged in a line on the same plane so that each of the plurality of wells rotates on the circumference of a first different circles having the same radius; and a plurality of measurement parts 8 which measure optical characteristics of liquid held by the respective wells included in a predetermined set of wells among the plurality of wells. Then, for each of the plurality of measurement parts, one measurement position is determined based on arrangement of photometry parts included in the measurement parts, and at least one of the plurality of measurement parts is provided to the set of wells which sequentially pass one measurement position by rotation by the mechanisms, and arranged on the circumference of one second circle having the radius on a plate 4. |
