Although, conventionally, it has been difficult to compare the lengths of a plurality of subjects present at different places, this image capturing device receives an image in which the subjects are captured and parallax information corresponding to the image and displays the lengths of the subjects, which are calculated based on the parallax information. The image capturing device is characterized by comprising: a subject extraction unit for extracting the images of the subjects from the captured image by using the parallax information; a comparison data holding unit for holding the images and lengths of the subjects; a subject comparison unit for comparing between the lengths of the subjects extracted by the subject extraction unit and the lengths in comparison data extracted from the comparison data holding unit; and an image combining unit for combining the comparison result with the captured image and outputting the result. This image capturing device facilitates the comparison of the lengths of the captured subjects.
