A shaving apparatus with a ceramic blade comprises at least one cutting element in the form of an elongated body with nonparallel edges, whose section line is a cutting edge, in the body of which the cutting element is secured. The edges of body pieces placed from the side of cutting edge are in one basic plane with the cutting edge. The cutting element is made of ceramic material.
