<p>A weather strip cleaning apparatus for removing debris from weather stripping abutting a movable panel exemplified by automotive window glass and sun roofs. The weather strip cleaning apparatus comprises: (i) a weather strip cleaning component comprising a brush component with a shaft having an intermediate portion engaged with a plurality of outward extending brush elements, and (ii) a spacing guide element comprising a proximal end piece, a distal end piece, and two elongate opposing spacing members engaged with the proximal end piece and the distal end piece wherein said elongate spacing members define an open area for housing the outward extending brush elements of the brush component. The distal end of the shaft is housed within a bore in the distal end piece of the spacing guide while the proximal end of the shaft extends through the proximal end piece, and is engaged by a drive unit housed within a hand-grippable component.</p> |
