The video analysis device of the present invention specifies an object-related interval that is related to a single object in a video, the video analysis device being provided with an object-related interval specification unit for specifying a non-detection interval to be an object-related interval when a prescribed condition is determined to be satisfied, and specifying a non-detection interval to not be an object-related interval when the prescribed condition is determined not to be satisfied, the non-detection interval being an interval in which the single object is not detected and which is temporally contiguous with a detection interval in which the single object is detected. In accordance with this video analysis device, an interval related to a single object in a video can be appropriately specified.
