The device (1) has a covering piece (2) formed of a cylindrical shell (5) whose one end extends outside by a skirt (6) that extends in a plane perpendicular to axis (8) of the shell. A fixation unit (3) integrates the piece and a smoke evacuation pipe (4) with each other. The fixation unit permits supporting of the piece in a suspended manner under the pipe while assuring support of the skirt against lower face of a ceiling or suspended ceiling (10). Magnets (17) made of galvanized steel assures fixation of a closing unit (7) fixed on the shell.
