PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of reducing deterioration of an image quality of an image recorded on a sheet even when a rear end of the sheet comes out from a pair of rollers.SOLUTION: A device includes: a pair of carrying rollers 63 carrying recording paper 15 in a carrying direction 16 while nipping it; a pair of discharging rollers 66 disposed on the downstream side in the carrying direction 16 of the pair of carrying rollers 63 and carrying the recording paper 15 in the carrying direction 16 while nipping it; a recording head 37 which is disposed between the respective pairs of rollers 63, 66 and in which a plurality of nozzles 36 discharging ink droplets are arranged; and a control part 130 making the respective pairs of rollers 63, 66 execute intermittent carrying of the recording paper 15 and discharging ink droplets to record an image on the recording paper 15 when the recording paper 15 is stopped during the intermittent carrying. When an upstream end in the carrying direction 15 of the recording paper 15 passes through the pair of carrying rollers 63, the control part 130 records an image related to printing data having higher resolution compared to a conventional case on the recording paper 15. |
