PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which image collation for collating whether object images in two images are the same object is affected by a variation in appearance due to an illumination condition difference between the images.SOLUTION: A color conversion unit 212 calculates cumulative histograms for a color luminance value of a pixel in an object image of interest of two images to be collated, and subjects one object image to luminance conversion for making its cumulative histogram similar to the cumulative histogram of the other object image. An inter-person similarity calculation unit 213 collates the one object image subjected to the luminance conversion with the other object image. |
