PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety and reliability of a sanitary remote controller which can be operated in a noncontact state.SOLUTION: A toilet seat device includes: a body 200 installed on a toilet bowl 110 and incorporating a motor-driven function; and a remote controller 400. The remote controller 400 comprises a remote controller body 401, a front panel 402 installed so as to be openable and closable at the front side of the remote controller body 401, an opening/closing detecting sensor 437 for detecting opening/closing of the front panel 402, a plurality of illuminance sensors 440, a control section 500 for detecting an operation motion, and a transmission section 436 for transmitting a control signal to the body 200. The control section 500 does not transmit a control signal of the motor-driven function even when the opening/closing detecting sensor 437 detects a detection voltage of the illuminance sensors 440 within a predetermined time after detection of the opening/closing of the front panel 402. Thereby, erroneous detection can be prevented from occurring due to a shading generated along with the opening/closing of the front panel. Accordingly, the safety and reliability of the remote controller can be improved. |
