PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crystal forms of 3-(4-amino-1-oxo-1,3 dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-piperidine-2,6-dione, and to provide compositions containing the crystal forms.SOLUTION: A 3-(4-amino-1-oxo-1,3 dihydro-isoindol-2-yl)-piperidine-2,6-dione of crystal forms has an X-ray powder diffraction pattern comprising peaks at approximately 8, 14.5, and 16 degrees (2&thetas;), and 17.5, 20.5, 24, and 26 degrees (2&thetas;). A solid pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases related to undesired angiogenesis, inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, and immune diseases comprises an effective amount of the crystal forms. |
