<p>A typical active matrix display panel that includes electro luminescence or liquid crystal is implemented by a transistor that switches brightness information, and in particular, a complex circuit has been used in an AMOLED in order to overcome the drawback of an uneven screen due to unevenness of the crystal structure of a driving transistor. The present invention relates to a differential pixel that is used for an active matrix display panel that uses a switching diode which is manufactured more easily than a switching transistor and which has a high operation speed. If brightness information is switched with a diode in a display panel pixel that uses a semiconductor having drawbacks, the switching speed is fast even if a semiconductor material having low conductivity is used. Moreover, in the case of an AMOLED, it is possible to implement an active matrix pixel that compensates for the unevenness of a threshold voltage of a driving transistor by the forward voltage drop of a diode. Thus, by using the simple configuration of a semiconductor material that has low conductivity, the differential pixel easily implements a high-definition active matrix display panel that must exhibit an even screen and needs a high switching speed.</p> |
