PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, system, and method for isolating a ventilator from one or more patients.SOLUTION: A gas supplied from a ventilator 29 to an isolation device 12 is supplied to one or more patients in the same or different delivery conditions. The isolation device has a housing and a movable partition. The movable partition is joined to the housing and has a first patient side of the partition and a second actuating side of the partition. The isolation device includes an inlet pressure regulator on the actuating side, and an exhaust pressure regulator on the patient side. These regulators may alter the delivery conditions (including, but not limited to, pressure and volume) of breathing-gas delivered to a patient. |
