PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence of fixed pattern noise included in image data, in the detection of object movement using the image data.SOLUTION: An image generation device includes: a photoelectric converter unit; a light receiving unit having arrayed light receiving elements including transfer gates disposed for a plurality of charge storage units to store charges generated in the photoelectric converter unit, for transferring each generated charge to each corresponding charge storage unit; a transfer control unit for operating each transfer gate included in each light receiving unit at different timing in a predetermined exposure period; and an image generation unit for selecting any one charge storage unit from among the plurality of charge storage units provided in each light receiving unit, to generate a plurality of images for each exposure period, on the basis of a charge amount stored in the selected charge storage unit. |
