PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a pull-print system, when a print job cannot be printed by a designated printer, the reason thereof is not known in a low-functionality printer which does not include a sufficient panel display function, when reason information is printed impartially, paper may be wasted in a high-functionality printer including the panel display function and although a method for presenting the reason should be determined after the printer is determined, there is no information on the presence/absence of a panel generally in acquiring configuration information of the printer.SOLUTION: By checking whether a specific item of configuration information is effective, either a high-functionality printer or a low-functionality printer is determined and in the case of high-functionality printer, the presence of a panel is determined but in the case of low-functionality printer, the absence of the panel is determined. As a reason presentation, whether panel display or printing is to be used is determined. |
