PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic resin composition giving an optical material excellent in high refractive index property and excellent in low water absorbability, transparency and handling property, and to provide its cured product.SOLUTION: An acrylic resin composition for optical material comprises an acrylate represented by general formula (1) and produced by reacting biphenyl ethanol with methacrylic acid, and a polymerization initiator (in the formula, X is H or methyl; Z is 1-6C alkyl, 1-6C alkoxyl, hydroxyl or halogen). |
