PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting edge replaceable cutting tool and a method for adjusting a position of a cutting blade thereof in which fine adjustment of the cutting blade position of a cutting insert projected from a tool body can be performed by simple work and with high accuracy.SOLUTION: An adjustment member 26 disposed in a recess 23 has a through hole 28 with a tapered face 36, and slits 29 communicating with the through hole 28 is elastically deformable, and has an insert contact face 35 projected to be retractable from one wall face 18. The insert contact face 35 is pressed in the recess 23 by a side face 15 of a cutting insert 4 when a clamp screw 20 is screwed therein, and moves backward by the elastic deformation of the adjustment member 26. When an adjustment screw 27 inserted into the through hole 28 is screwed therein, the adjustment member 26 is restored and deformed while a head of the adjustment screw 27 is in slide-contact with the tapered face 36 to make the insert contact face 35 press the side face 15 of the cutting insert 4 against a tip side or the radial outside of a tool body 2, and a position of the cutting blade 5 can be adjusted. |
