PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing, showing excellent wear resistance property, without degrading conformability of a resin overlay layer containing solid lubricant, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A sliding bearing is provided with a resin overlay layer 103 containing binder resin and solid lubricant, on a bearing base material containing a back metal steel 101 and a bearing alloy layer 102 disposed on the back metal steel. A radial sliding bearing provides a high wear resistance, in which the solid lubricant contains a solid lubricant that has cleavage, and major axes directions of particles of 4 μmor larger in top view in the solid lubricant are arrayed almost perpendicular to a sliding direction. |
