PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system or the like capable of performing communication between a radio field apparatus and a control device without significantly increasing in cost, even when an installation location of the radio field apparatus and an installation location of the control device are apart from each other.SOLUTION: A radio communication system 1 comprises: a radio access point device 12 operating by electric power supplied through a PLC line L that performs radio communication with radio field apparatuses 11a to 11c through a radio communication network N1 and performs communication through the PLC line L; and a PLC converter 13 connected to a control device 14 for performing control of the PLC line L and radio field apparatuses 11a to 11c that supplies electric power to the radio access point device 12 through the PLC line L and performs conversion of a signal that is input/output to the control device 14 and a signal that is transmitted/received through the PLC line L.
