PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact tool of high reliability without changing its structure or increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: In an impact tool, a rotary impact mechanism is attached to a spindle to be rotation-driven by a motor, and a rotational impact force generated by the rotary impact mechanism is intermittently transmitted to a fore end tool from a hammer via an anvil to give the rotational impact force to the fore end tool. An arc-shaped cutout of the design in which a front end of an insertion side of the fore end tool has a maximum arc dimension, and the arc dimension is gradually reduced from the front end to the motor side is effectively provided at each apex angle of a regular hexagonal hole forming a fore end tool holding part of the anvil only as necessary. |
