FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises rigid attachment of ramjet onto horizontal measuring platform to be mounted at crosswise elastic supports and connected with force transducer. Force transducer is calibrated with preset mass weight to measure force at force transducer. Thereafter, cold air is fed to combustion chamber inlet to measure force at force transducer. Then, fuel is forced into combustion chamber to ignite formed fuel mix and to measure force at force transducer for fuel combustion efficiency to be defined by relationship protected by this invention.EFFECT: higher accuracy and reliability of determination, simplified procedure.1 dwg
