STUFFING BOX OF LUBRICATOR

FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: stuffing box of lubricator contains container for lubricant 6 with oil-scraper ring 12 inside it. Guide pulleys 11 are installed on container 6. Seal 3 is placed in housing 2 which is twisted into lubricator 1 plug. Spring-loaded union 4 is connected by tight connection with container 6 by the upper end and screwed into housing 2 of seal 3 by the lower end. Seal 3 contains guide ring 14 and two ring seals 15, 16 made of polyurethane. The upper ring seal 15 is installed under guide ring 14, while the lower ring seal 16 is placed from the tubing side. Hardness of polyurethane in the seal ring 16 is higher than hardness of the seal ring 15. Design of seal 3 uses pressure inside tubing in order to control elasticity of polyurethane.EFFECT: improvement of performance properties and reduction of emergency risks are attained due to tightness of well and optimisation of conditions of uniform sliding of scrape wire depending on pressure in well and direction of wire movement.1 dwg
