PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cellulose ester fiber that is superior in wear resistance and suitably used for clothing and the like, and to provide a fiber structure formed of the same.SOLUTION: The cellulose ester-based fiber has a coating film of an amino-modified silicone on a surface layer part of the fiber. An average value of the thickness of the coating film is in a range of 10-200 nm. The number of residual hydroxyl groups in cellulose ester is preferably 0.2 to 1.0 per glucose unit. The cellulose ester preferably comprises cellulose acetate propionate and/or cellulose acetate butyrate. An amino group equivalent of the amino-modified silicone is preferably 1,000 to 8,000 g/mol. |
