PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box for display device capable of readily covering a display screen with a packing member cut off from the packing box for a display device so as not to damage the display screen.SOLUTION: As shown in (1), a packing member 210 folded into a compact size is extended and bent into a U-shaped form by making only an upper end conform to the width of the thickness of a television receiver 100. As shown in (2), the packing member 210 is covered with a packing bag 400 and a U-shaped cut 211 and a U-shaped cut 212 in the packing member 210 are inserted into an insertion hole 401 and an insertion hole 402 in the packing bag 400 and are bent. As shown in (3), the packing member 210 is folded together with the packing bag 400 and the U-shaped bent upper end of the packing member 210 is hung on an upper side of the television receiver 100 so that the packing member 210 is situated at the front surface side of the display screen. As shown in (4), the display screen is covered simultaneously with the packing member 210 and the backing bag 400 by descending the packing member 210 like a bamboo blind. |
