PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine activity characteristics of a user by accumulating detection data in the case where an authorized user is detected, in such a security system as to report the case where a suspicious person is detected in a living zone.SOLUTION: In a security system, a security set mode and a security cancel mode can be set. In the security set mode, when a detecting signal is inputted from a sensor provided in a living zone of a user, a notification is performed and in the security cancel mode, even when anything is detected, the notification is not performed. The security system comprises sensor arrangement information in which a sensor and a room where the sensor is disposed are made correspondent, detection information including a detecting signal of the sensor and a time, an activity time extracting section which extracts an activity time zone where the user stays for each room from the detection information and the sensor arrangement information while the security cancel mode is set, a tendency determining section which determines an effective activity tendency by statistically calculating the equality of the activity time zone for a past predetermined period for each room, and a life characteristic determining section which determines life characteristics of the user by comparing the effective activity tendency with a preset reference value. |
