PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem, in a piston having a hollow oil reservoir therein and a through hole communicating with a piston sliding surface to reduce friction loss between the piston and a bore surface, that e.g., the rigidity in a piston skirt part is decreased due to the hollow part.SOLUTION: A piston structure for an internal combustion engine includes a bent shape part provided from a lower end of a piston skirt part toward a piston inside, and a through hole for providing communication between a groove and a sliding surface of the piston skirt part, where the groove is formed between the piston skirt part inner surface and the bent shape part. |
