PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing diene rubber with a low gel content and high linearity of the molecule.SOLUTION: A method for producing diene rubber, having 2.3 or greater ratio (T/ML) of 5 wt.% toluene solution viscosity (T[cps]) and Mooney viscosity (ML) at 100°C, measured according to JIS-K6300, comprises a step of polymerizing a conjugated diene-based monomer by adding water, a transition metal catalyst and an organometallic promoter to a monomer liquid containing the conjugated diene-based monomer and an organic solvent, where the addition amount of the organometallic promoter is 0.5-1.25 mol with respect to 1 mol of water, the organometallic promoter includes a non-halogenated organometallic compound and a halogenated organometallic compound, and the addition amount of the halogenated organometallic compound is 0.1-2.9 mol with respect to 1 mol of the non-halogenated organometallic compound. |
