The method involves conveying core strappings (2) with separators (3) by a first conveyor arm (5) i.e. conveyor belt, in a direction of a transfer position (7) against a stop (13). The core strappings and the separators are separated by a separating device (8). The strappings are isolatedly deposited on a second conveyor arm (9). The isolated strappings are directly transported to a tire manufacturing machine by the second arm. The separated separators are transferred on a third conveyor arm (14) i.e. chain conveyor, for storing the separators, removed from the third arm, and reused.
