<p>Device (20) for electro-physical water treatment, comprises: at least two electrodes arranged at different poles of an electrical power source, between which a water stream is passed, and from which at least one electrode (3) emits metal ions which exert a germicidal- or disinfectant effect on organisms carried in the water stream; a control device which adjusts the power source at the electrodes depending on at least one measuring- or control value; and a current pulse generator interconnected between the current source and the electrodes in the circuit, for generating current pulses.
