PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method.SOLUTION: An orthogonal frequency division multiplex system communication apparatus comprises: a plurality of antenna elements for transmitting an orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal consisting of a plurality of sub carriers to other communication apparatuses; and a processing unit that is connected to the antenna elements and that processes the orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal to be transmitted. The processing unit acquires information related to a phase of each sub carrier of the plurality of sub carriers, and adjusts the phase of each sub carrier of the orthogonal frequency division multiplex signal according to the information related to the phase of each sub carrier.
