PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of a liquid crystal ink, with which optical axis deviation is evaluated easily.SOLUTION: An evaluation method of a liquid crystal ink for phase difference film formation includes a step for preparing a resin substrate for evaluation including a liquid crystal layer formed by coating one side of a resin base material with a liquid crystal ink, a member including a metal surface and charge application means, a step for fixing at least a part of the other side of the resin substrate for evaluation, where the liquid crystal layer is not included on a surface of the resin base material, in contact with a metal surface of the member including the metal surface, a step for charging at least a contact portion of the resin substrate for evaluation with the metal surface from a side of the liquid crystal layer through the charge application means, a step for grounding the metal surface, a step for exfoliating the charged resin substrate for evaluation from the metal surface to discharge at least a part of the contact portion of the resin substrate for evaluation, and a step for comparing an optical axis of the resin substrate for evaluation before discharging with the optical axis after discharging. |
