PURPOSE: An apparatus for operating a diesel engine using wind power is provided to save fuel energy for operating the engine. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for operating a diesel engine using wind power comprises a wind power driving unit (210) and a diesel combustion driving unit (230). The wind power driving unit compresses air by driving a piston compressor (212) by a wind power turbine (211). The wind power driving unit injects the compressed air to an A-bank of the diesel engine in order to operate the diesel engine. The diesel combustion driving unit compresses the air by operating a turbocharger using the combustion of diesel fuel. The diesel combustion driving unit operates the diesel engine by the compressed air by injecting the compressed air to a B-bank of a V type diesel engine (E).
