<p>PURPOSE: An apparatus for desalinating seawater and purifying contaminated water using solar energy is provided to produce an abundance of desalinated water or purified water by condensing vapor at a ceiling part. CONSTITUTION: A system(100) for desalinating seawater and purifying contaminated water is based upon solar energy. The system is composed of a solar energy collecting module(110) and a desalinating or contaminated water purifying unit(120). The solar energy collecting module includes a lens or a reflecting mirror. The desalinating or contaminated water purifying unit includes a cooling part(130), a partition, a seawater or contaminated water region(150), a desalinated water or purified water region(160), a lens or reflective mirror focus plane(170), and a ceiling part. The seawater or contaminated water region and the desalinated water or purified water region are divided by the partition. The ceiling part faces the seawater or contaminated water region and the desalinated water or purified water region. The condensation of vapor from the seawater or contaminated water is generated on the ceiling part.</p> |
