The invention relates to a tub insert (2, 10) for a tub (1) or receptacle accommodating test objects or items, particularly for hand luggage, said tub insert being characterised in that it has at least one indentation (3, 4, 3', 4') in the surface (5, 5') of the tub base (2) and/or of the tub insert (10), particularly for accommodating receptacles (6) containing liquids. Said tub insert is part of the tub (2) and/or can be retrofitted. The at least one base material (7) of the tub insert is closed-porous and can be a foam, such as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE), but preferably a PE LD 29. An upper layer or protective layer (8) on the base material (7) protects the latter. |
