FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to forming of rectangular- or round-cross-section rods and can be used in production of railway car hinges other rod-like parts with misaligned bulge. Blank with end inclined is cut from the rod inclined to rod axis. Blank is placed into female die so that inclined end obtuse angle is directed to bulge eccentricity. Then, blank end extending beyond said female die is headed by flat male die or male die with misaligned cavity.EFFECT: ruled out flaws like jams, decreased allowance for head machining.1 dwg
