摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide positive electrode active material particulate powder improved in charge/discharge capacity and rate characteristics.SOLUTION: Positive electrode active material particulate powder is a compound having a crystal system belonging to a space group R-3m and a crystal system belonging to a space group C2/m, has a specific peak intensity ratio, contains Mn in a molar ratio of 0.55 or more as Mn/(Ni+Co+Mn), includes 0.03-5 wt.% of an element A (the element A is one or more elements selected from among Si, Y and Zr), has a tap density of 0.8-2.4 g/cc, and has a compression density of 2.0-3.1 g/cc. The positive electrode active material particulate powder can be obtained by firing a mixture containing a lithium compound and precursor particulate powder including the element A, Mn, Ni and/or Co.
