PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve stability of a higher fatty acid ester of ascorbic acid-2-phosphate ester in a liposome composition at high temperature and at low temperature, and to provide a means, in particular, to suppress cloudiness and precipitation at low temperature.SOLUTION: A liposome composition contains following components (a)-(g): (a) phospholipid; (b) cholesterol and/or phytosterol; (c) an aqueous antioxidant; (d) a chelating agent; (e) an amino acid containing at least two nitrogen atoms; (f) a salt of a higher fatty acid ester of an ascorbic acid-2-phosphate; and (g) water; wherein component (a) and component (b) forms a lipid bilayer. The liposome composition can be used as a cosmetic material or skin care preparation as it is, and can be added to the cosmetic material or skin care preparation to give various forms. |
