PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set time and date information of a remote controller without imposing any burden on a user.SOLUTION: In an air conditioner, a remote controller 2 for operating the air conditioner, and an indoor unit 1 are allowed to communicate with each other. The remote controller 2 includes a timing means, a storing section for storing information, an input section 4 for inputting the information including a clock time, and a display 5. When it is necessary to set the information including the clock time on the remote controller, the information including the clock time is requested to the indoor unit according an operation to an input section 4 while executing the display to prompt the input of clock time on the display 5, when the information including the clock time is received from the indoor unit 1, the information including the received clock time is displayed on the display 5, and when the information including clock time can not be received from the indoor unit 1, the display to prompt the input of clock time is executed on the display 1, and the information including the clock time input from the input section 4 is displayed on the display 5 and transmitted to the indoor unit 1. |
