Provided is a process for manufacturing a resin composite material having high mechanical strengths. This process comprises: a step of preparing a resin composition which comprises a carbon material having graphene structure, a solvent and a thermoplastic resin; a step of applying a shearing force to a solid body of the resin composition with the total shearing strain adjusted to 80000 or more, either at a temperature lower than the melting point of the thermoplastic resin when the resin is crystalline or at a temperature in the neighborhood of the Tg of the resin when the resin is noncrystalline; and a step of kneading the resulting resin composition at a temperature equal to or higher than the boiling point of the solvent to obtain a resin composite material. The term "total shearing strain" refers to a product of shear rate (s-1) and shear time (s). |
