<p>The present invention relates to a steering wheel having a heating element and to a fail-safety device using same. The steering wheel having a heating element according to the present invention has a rim, and the surface of the rim is coated with an electrically conductive heating element. The heating element comprises: a first unit line, each of the two ends of which connect a positive power-applying terminal and a negative power-applying terminal together in series; a second unit line spaced apart from the first unit line, each of the two ends of which connects a positive power-applying terminal and a negative power-applying terminal together in series; and a plurality of unit heating elements including a connection line for connecting the first and second unit lines, the unit heating elements being arranged in parallel. The steering wheel having the above-described configuration may provide the effect of preventing a degradation in heating performance even when a portion of the heating element is short-circuited.</p> |
