A liquid crystal lens is provided to control a phase change of the incident light in a liquid crystal layer precisely by driving the liquid crystal layer by using three electrodes. A liquid crystal lens(110) is composed of a first substrate(120) having a first electrode(122), a second substrate(130) comprising a second electrode(132) facing the first substrate and separated in first distance(d1) and a third electrode(136) separated at the upper part of the second electrode in a second distance(d2), a liquid crystal layer(140) formed between the first and second substrates, a column spacer(150) formed between the first and second substrates and disposed in a region overlapped with the third electrode, a first alignment layer(124) formed on the upper part of the first electrode, an insulating layer(134) formed between the second and third electrodes, and a second alignment layer(138) formed on the upper part of the third electrode. |
