PURPOSE: A system and a method for monitoring a continuous type train shaft using a FBG(Fiber Bragg Grating) sensor is provided to prevent an accident such as derailment of a train by continuously monitoring abnormal vibration and temperature of the train shaft. CONSTITUTION: A system for monitoring a continuous type train shaft using a FBG sensor comprises a measuring member(100) and a signal processing member(200). The measuring member includes the FBG sensor measuring vibration generated on the train shaft and temperature. The signal processing member transmits to a managing server of the train shaft on the ground by converting the change amount of a Bragg grid of the FBG sensor into the dynamic deformation ratio by the vibration and the temperature.
