The beverage maker has a liquid container that is provided in a flow-conducting manner. The liquid container and an appliance-side coupling device (4) are arranged in the device front side. The coupling device is provided with a connection structure (5) which is connected to the liquid container by fitting and sealing with a connectable connection element (6). The coupling device is connected to a holder (9). The connection structure and the connection element are provided on a lid (18) of the liquid container.
