Feed air stream (1) is compressed in main air compressor. The stored cryogenic liquid is removed from liquid tank (22) and is introduced into distillation column system and process fluid (24) of distillation column system is heated to high temperature (14) at hot expansion turbine (26). The mechanical energy generated in hot expansion turbine is converted partially into electrical energy (29,28). A nitrogen-enriched product stream from high pressure column used as process fluid of distillation column system is heated to high temperature and is expanded in expansion turbine. An independent claim is included for a device for generating electrical energy in combined system of power plant. |
