Use of bacterial fertilizer including potassium, nitrogen and stomatotaxic and/or stomatophiles bacteria and having pH of 8-7.2, preferably 7, for foliar application, is claimed, where: stomatotaxic bacteria have an ability to move a phylloplane surface towards stomatal guard cells and the stomatophiles bacteria have an ability to anchor on or near the stomatal guard cells when: the nitrogen nutrition index is >= 1; the nitrate content of stem based juice or leafstalk juice is 101-150 wt.%, preferably 120 wt.%; and/or the nitrate content of xylem sap is 6-14 moles/l, preferably 10 moles/l. Use of a bacterial fertilizer, comprising potassium, nitrogen and stomatotaxic and/or stomatophiles bacteria and having pH of 8-7.2, preferably 7, for foliar application, is claimed, where: stomatotaxic bacteria have an ability to move a surface of phylloplane towards the stomatal guard cells and the stomatophiles bacteria have an ability to anchor on or near the stomatal guard cells when: the nitrogen nutrition index is >= 1; the nitrate content of stem based juice or leafstalk juice that represents a stock of ions present in the plant is 101-150 wt.%, preferably 120 wt.% of the triggering threshold value of a supplementation of nitrogen fertilizer; and/or the nitrate content of xylem sap is 6-14 moles/l, preferably 10 moles/l.
