The present invention pertains to an air dryer device (102), in particular for a vehicle, comprising an air dryer cartridge (100) with a housing (104), the housing containing a dryer agent (106), a first air port (108, 116) providing fluid connection to the housing (104), and a second air port (110, 118) providing fluid connection to the housing (104). The air dryer cartridge (100) comprises a fluid guide providing a fluid connection between the first air port (108, 116) and the second air port (110, 118), the fluid guide being arranged to allow interaction between an air stream flowing through the fluid guide and the dryer agent (106), wherein the air dryer device (102) further comprises a temperature sensor device (112, 114) adapted to monitor a temperature change due to an interaction between the air stream and the dryer agent (116). The invention also refers to an air dryer cartridge and a method of controlling an air dryer device. |
