<p>The invention relates to a safety lock as well as a method for fitting a safety lock into a safety arrangement of an elevator. The safety lock comprises a frame section (2), as well as a lock latch (4) in connection with the frame section. The safety lock also comprises a catch lever (3) guided via a guide interface (17,19) as well as a safety switch (8) fitted inside the frame section. In the method for fitting a safety lock into a safety arrangement of an elevator the safety lock is fitted into a landing door (26) of the elevator; and a signal comprising the position data of the first switch element of the safety switch (8) is taken to the safety circuit (27) of the landing doors of the elevator via the electrical interface of the frame section (2) of the safety switch.</p> |
